'We started working with IncludEd last year when we were seeking suitable learning environments for some children who were suffering from school avoidance and real difficult with self-regulation. The children in question found ‘mainstream’ schooling difficult and just needed somewhere more appropriate to meet their needs – that is when we discovered the IncludEd offer. I can not praise the work and impact of IncludEd enough – particularly around work undertaken with 2/3 of our most challenging children. Children previously non-engagers and suffering with extreme self-regulation issues found a ‘home’ at Include Ed – getting the support required in a fantastic environment – resulting in both being able to return to education and in time their home schools. The perfect outcome. The staff at IncludEd work so closely with School – ensuring they really get to understand the needs of each child and identify successful strategies that can be adapted from school and used in the IncludEd provision. Inclusion is at the heart of every conversation had with the staff at IncludEd- constantly asking what we can do better? Or how can we better meet the needs of each child? It has been proven that no challenge is too great – set backs are met with determination and every day is a new day and a new start – just what these children needed. As I have seen for myself, and been noted during OFSTED visits as part of my school inspection – the work of IncludEd is just simply amazing. Working so closely with schools and their staff; It is changing lives daily and providing an education for children who otherwise wouldn’t get into a school and who need it most.

'I have worked in partnership with IncludEd Education Solutions through the delivery of key fire and community safety education programmes to their young people. This has included providing targeted interventions and educational sessions aimed at increasing awareness of fire safety, reducing risk-taking behaviours, and promoting positive decision-making. Through this partnership, I have found IncludEd Education Solutions to be highly committed to supporting vulnerable young people, working collaboratively with external agencies to ensure learners receive the guidance and support they need to remain safe and engaged in education. Through my work with IncludEd Education Solutions, I have had the opportunity to work with several young people whom I had previously engaged with while they were attending other educational establishments. This has provided me with a unique insight into the impact of IncludEd's work. The personal growth I have witnessed has been remarkable. Historically, some of these young people displayed challenging behaviour, were often disrespectful towards professionals, and showed little regard for emergency services or the messages being delivered. When visiting them at IncludEd, I observed a significant positive change. The young people were noticeably calmer, more respectful, and fully engaged in learning. They demonstrated positive attitudes towards staff and visiting professionals and were often seen encouraging their peers to meet expectations and participate appropriately during sessions. It has also been wonderful to see their academic growth. Learners consistently take pride in their achievements, are keen to share the work they have been completing, and actively engage in educational activities. The progress they have made in both their personal development and their attitude towards learning is a credit to the support, guidance, and nurturing environment provided by IncludEd Education Solutions. IncludEd Education Solutions actively celebrates and showcases the achievements of its young people by inviting families, professionals, and partner agencies into the provision to view learners' work and recognise their successes. This creates a strong sense of pride and achievement amongst the children. Whenever I visit, the young people are genuinely pleased to see me, eager to share the work they have been completing, and keen to discuss the progress they have made. They consistently demonstrate pride in their achievements and often take the time to thank me for supporting them on their journey, which reflects the positive relationships, confidence, and self-worth that IncludEd has helped to foster. In my experience, IncludEd Education Solutions' greatest strength is its nurturing, caring, and calm environment, which creates a setting where young people feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. The ethos of the provision is firmly centred on understanding each child as an individual and recognising their unique strengths, needs, and potential. The staff demonstrate genuine care and commitment to the young people they support, building positive and trusting relationships that help learners develop both personally and academically. Rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach, IncludEd takes the time to understand the individual circumstances of each child and provides tailored support that enables them to succeed. The inclusive approach adopted by the provision ensures that all young people feel respected, listened to, and supported. This, combined with the calm and structured learning environment, allows pupils to build confidence, regulate their behaviour, engage positively in learning, and achieve outcomes that may previously have seemed out of reach.
