Curriculum

At IncludEd Education Solutions, our ‘whole’istic curriculum is designed with the learner at its heart. We know that every child’s journey is unique, which is why our approach blends the best of traditional academic learning, delivered by experienced and qualified teachers, with carefully tailored programmes that support personal growth and development. Alongside core subjects, we create bespoke pathways that help pupils build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills, ensuring they are prepared not just for exams, but for the challenges and opportunities of life in and beyond the classroom. This balance of academic rigour and personalised development means every learner can access a curriculum that recognises their strengths, meets their needs, and empowers them to thrive.

Curriculum at IncludEd

At IncludEd, our curriculum is carefully designed to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of every child and young person we support. We recognise that meaningful progress happens when learning is personalised, purposeful, and rooted in strong relationships.

Our approach ensures that each learner receives targeted support in agreed priority areas, supporting both academic development and social, emotional health and wellbeing.

Targeted and Individualised Support

Every child’s programme is shaped around their individual needs, starting points, and next steps. Targets are agreed in collaboration with families, schools, and professionals and are regularly reviewed to ensure progress.

Support is focused on:

  • Academic learning and skill development
  • Social and emotional health and wellbeing
  • Confidence, self-regulation, and engagement with learning

Our therapeutic, trauma-informed approach ensures that children feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.

Daily Core Learning

Each day at IncludEd includes targeted curriculum sessions in:

English

Children develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through carefully matched work that builds confidence and success.

Maths

Maths learning is structured, practical, and accessible, with a strong focus on securing understanding and building fluency.

Work is adapted to meet individual needs and delivered in small groups or 1:1 where appropriate.

A Strong PSHE and Art Offer

Alongside core academic learning, we place a strong emphasis on PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Education) and Art.

These sessions support children to:

  • Develop emotional literacy and self-awareness
  • Build positive relationships
  • Explore identity, feelings, and wellbeing
  • Express themselves creatively and confidently

Art is used both as a curriculum subject and as a therapeutic tool to support regulation, communication, and self-esteem.

Themed Learning for Primary-Aged Children

For our primary-aged learners, we deliver a themed-based curriculum that helps children make meaningful connections across subjects whilst developing subject specific skills and knowledge.

Through this approach, children:

  • Learn more about themselves and their identities
  • Explore their local area and develop a sense of belonging
  • Engage with geography and history in a relevant, accessible way

This integrated approach supports curiosity, engagement, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Science

Science learning is also embedded within our curriculum, giving children opportunities to:

  • Explore, investigate, and ask questions
  • Develop curiosity and problem-solving skills
  • Engage in practical and hands-on learning experiences

PE: Muay Thai

Some children also have the opportunity to take part in weekly Muay Thai lessons, delivered in our building by professional sports coach Yasmin Nazary.

These sessions support:

  • Physical wellbeing and fitness
  • Confidence and self-discipline
  • Emotional regulation and resilience
  • Positive self-esteem and motivation
